How often should I have my teeth cleaned?
If you have good oral hygiene habits and a healthy mouth, Chesney Dentistry recommends professional teeth cleaning at least twice a year. Many dental insurance policies will cover two cleanings per year.
Do I need to arrive early for my first appointment?
Yes. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out any remaining patient forms.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
Please bring the following items with you to your appointment:
- New Patient Form
- Dental Insurance Card (if applicable)
- Identification such as Driver’s License, Military ID or State ID
- Medical History Form
- HIPAA Consent Form
How long will my first appointment last?
It varies, but please plan on 1 to 1.5 hours for the first visit.
What if I don't have dental insurance?
That’s totally fine. Chesney Dentistry can provide you with the cost of service up front so that you can decide how you wish to proceed. We offer financing through CareCredit. Inquire of our team for details.
